Brasserie
Brasserie service that keeps pace with your customers, not the other way around.
QR at the table for drink and dessert rounds, dietary notes on every ticket, and pre-order for weekend covers. Your floor staff stop losing time on trips to the bar β the system handles the coordination.
Pijnpunten
Waar je elke dag tijd verliest.
Pulling a server to a table for a second round
During a busy service, every trip to a table to take another order is a lost minute. A six-top that wants one more round of drinks, or a dessert on top, means your staff walk over a third time. A QR at the table handles that on its own.
Allergens and dietary requests go wrong by word of mouth
A table with a nut allergy or a vegan customer needs that note to travel flawlessly from table to service to kitchen. One link in the chain that skips it and you have an avoidable problem. Ordering digitally prints every request as a clear line on the kitchen ticket.
Weekend lunch is full, everything lands at once
A fully booked Saturday lunch means the kitchen gets every cover at the same time. Prep falls behind, customers wait, complaints follow. With pre-order through the reservation, the starter comes in before the customer arrives, and the kitchen can plan.
Solution
How Upvendo solves it.
QR at the table for drinks, dessert and add-ons
Customers scan the table QR and order more right away. The round goes straight to the bar, the dessert to the kitchen. Your service staff lose no time taking orders and can focus on the customers.
Allergen and dietary flags on every order ticket
EU allergen categories are linked to each menu item. The ordering flow shows them clearly, records the customer's choice, and the kitchen sees the info in black and white on the ticket.
Pre-order through the reservation
Customers who reserve a table can add their starter in advance. Their order is in the POS before they sit down, your kitchen knows what's coming, and service can focus on welcoming the customer.
Per-table overview in your POS
Order history per table, without the floor staff having to ask. Who had what, how much of it, and what's still open β all visible without interrupting the customer.
Common questions
Frequently asked
Can customers split the bill per seat?
Yes. When the table session closes, the split options appear. Customers can divide evenly or split per item. The POS receives one transaction per split.
Which POS systems are supported?
Upvendo works natively with Lightspeed, MplusKassa, Shopcaisse and Vectron β all common in Belgian and French brasseries.
Does this also work in the Netherlands or Germany?
The brasserie page targets .be and .fr. For .nl and .de, look at the casual-dining or snack-bar setup.
Does QR at the table replace the paper menu?
Most venues do both. Paper menu for the first menu choice, QR for ordering more during service. You can also limit the QR to drinks and dessert only if you'd rather keep the main menu on paper.
